Larry J. Hamilton

Larry J. Hamilton, 62, of Connersville, died suddenly, Tuesday morning, October 27, 2015 at Indiana University - Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. A Connersville native, Larry was born February 22, 1953 to Joseph L. and A. Pearl McKee Hamilton and was a 1971 graduate of Connersville High School. He was a car salesman throughout Ohio and most recently in Connersville at Hobbs Auto. Larry had previously been employed as a Prudential insurance agent and had worked at Sperry Rubber in Brookville. In his leisure time, he enjoyed cooking, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren and his doberman, Edie. Larry is survived by his children: Jessica Hamilton and Jason Faust, of Brookville; Josh Hamilton and Dawn Hudson; Lauren Hamilton and fiancé, Brian Starr; Ethan Hamilton, all of Connersville; his grandchildren: Brian Doherty, Sophia and Isabella Hamilton, Nolan Starr, Kynlee Hamilton; his cousins: Diane and Gerry Baughman of Chattanooga, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by other family members including his aunt: Myrtle Stewart and his cousin: Randy Stewart. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Dennis Perkins officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
