Jill A. Roberts

Jill A. Roberts (nee Bales), 64, of Connersville, died Sunday morning February 2, 2025, at Reid Hospital in Richmond Indiana.

Jill was born October 10, 1960 in Connersville Indiana to Bill and Sally Bales, (whom preceded her in death); Jill was a 1979 graduate of Connersville High School and Connersville Area Vocational & Cosmetology School. For most of her life Jill was self-employed, and for many years and owned and operated Boomerang’s Salon; she also worked for a time for Residential CRF. Jill was a proud mother to her cherished son Logan Seale and proud grandmother to Jaxon, Rowan, and soon-to-be delivered “Landon” Seale. In addition, Jill was very talented and had terrific eye for decorating homes as well as crochet, knitting, sewing and all types of crafts. She most enjoyed time cooking for her family and friends.

Jill is survived by her son Logan (Reygan) Seale and their children; ex-husband and cherished companion Daryl Seale, brother Don (Theresa) Bales and daughter Kylee Sizemore; sister Tammy Bales all of Connersville; and John (Cindy) Clifton of Spicewood Texas. Numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents and husband John Roberts, Jill is preceded in death by her brothers: Robert K. Bales, Gary D. Bales, Daniel J. Bales, and sister Mary E. Clifton Oliver, nephew Jason Bales, special cousin Donald Kimber “DK” Bales.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on February 7, 2025 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 11:00 until the time of service. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter in Jill's honor.
