Jeffery Allen Smith, 52, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, November 25. 2015, at Reid Hospital, Richmond. Jeff was born in Connersville, July 25, 1963 to Norman and Sandra L. Taylor Smith. He attended Connersville High School and liked to hunt, fish and follow NASCAR races. Jeff was employed with Nova Construction Millwork, Inc,, traveling throughout the country building retail shops. Jeff is survived by his wife, the former Estelle Fillion, whom he married February 14th, 1991; two children: Sharon Smith and Darren Smith; his Father and step-mother: Norman and Connie Sue Smith of Connersville; step-brothers: Paul Smith and his wife, Tonya; Doug Barrett, all of Connersville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, his maternal grandparents: Coleman and Eula Taylor and his paternal grandparents: Harold and Jessie Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of service.
