Gail W. Good, 88, of Leesburg, Florida and formerly of Connersville, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Leesburg, Florida Regional Hospital.
Gail was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, August 26, 1923, to Floyd Taylor and Dorothy Chapman Wolfe. She attended Blooming Grove Elementary School and was a 1941 graduate of Brookville High School. Gail attended Anderson Beauty College and had owned and operated Terrace View Beauty Salon for forty years. She was a member of the North Lake Presbyterian Church and the Stephen Ministry. Gail enjoyed being with her grandchildren, family and friends.
Gail is survived by two granddaughters: Gian Bolen of Nashville, Tennessee; Ginny Good of Orlando, FL; a grandson: Dennis Good and his wife, Katherine of Fishers; five great-grandchildren: Natalie, Monica and Drew Bolen, Colin and Owen Good; a brother and sister-in-law: William Wolfe and Loveine of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister and brother-in-law: Joyce Thomas and Gerald of Davenport, FL.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul Good, who died in 1996; and her son: Gary Good, who died in 1985.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 noon Wednesday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or to the Feed The Children Fund.
