Dustin Dale Abernathy

Dustin Dale Abernathy, 43, of Liberty, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, in Richmond. Dustin was born in Richmond on July 9, 1972, to Bruce and Sherry Sue Abernathy. He attended Union County Schools. Dustin is survived by his father; one sister: Ashley Curry and her husband Richard of Liberty; and one niece, Brooke Curry of Liberty. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Abernathy, who died on May 17, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21st, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, in Liberty, with Rev. John Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Richland Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
