Diane R. Brown

Diane R. Brown, 69, of Connersville, died Thursday morning, October 29, 2015 at her residence. Diane was born August 12, 1946, the only child of Everett and Anna Bane Lehman and graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City with the Class of 1964. Diane was married to Larry B. Brown and together they owned and operated L.B. Brown and Son Septic Service since 1982. For many years, she had owned Audree’s Dress Shop in Connersville and Liberty. Diane was a proud supporter of local events and charities, especially the American Cancer Society. In her leisure time, she enjoyed being with her family, cooking and playing euchre. Diane was an avid NBA fan and strong supporter of the Indiana Pacers. Diane is survived by her daughter: Kim Harmeyer and her husband, Kevin of Connersville; her grandchildren: Keith Brown and his wife, Kelsea, of Connersville; Courtney Brown and Trevor Vail of Liberty; Krista Harmeyer; Karl Harmeyer and Eilish Stewart, all of Connersville; her great-grandchildren: Lilly Vail; Chloe Vail; Kambria Harmeyer-Stewart. In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, who died June 19, 1993 and her son, Kevin B. Brown who died January 24, 2011. Private funeral services will conducted at the convenience of the family at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Eric Hopkins officiating.
