Debi was born on January 16, 1949 to Walter Jr., and Evelyn V. Stevens Clark in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Short High School and furthered her education at Porter Business College. Debi began dating the love of her life Booker T. Washington on Superbowl Sunday, 1988; together they have shared thirty-seven wonderful years. With a very strong work ethic at heart, she was employed with Kemper Cabinets for seventeen years. In 1999, Debi began working at Walmart where she enjoyed interacting with her coworkers and serving her customers for twenty-two years. Debi was a very proud mother and grandmother. She adored spending her time with her family at cookouts, family gatherings, and visits at the house. In addition, Debi was fond of flowers and was keen on meticulously tending to her gardens. She was a woman of faith, attending Higher Praise Worship Center in Connersville when able. Debi was a generous soul; she will be deeply missed by her loving family.

In addition to Booker, Debi is survived by her son: Micah Brewer of Richmond, Indiana; daughter: Michelle and her husband Jamie Cheatem of Parkville, Maryland; grandchildren: Jamison and Kaydence; brother: Walter S. Clark; one nephew.

Debi is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Evelyn; Brother: Barry A. Clark; sister-in-law: Dona Clark.

Following Debi’s wishes, a private family celebration will be conducted at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Debi’s honor. Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty has been entrusted with arrangements.
